Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is an Canadian actor who is best known for the fantasy television series Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' te Enamores. She is also a successful model and a dancer. Montreal born, she lived the first few years of her life in Texas. She was trained since the age of three in many various forms. The first time she entered beauty contests at the age of fifteen. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame for her participation in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant series. In 2010, she began acting in the role of an office receptionist on the Telemundo episode. Her first movie was an action-drama called Tattooed Love in 2015. Toubia has been nominated twice in the Teen Choice Awards as the Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi due to her part in Shadowhunters.
