Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest child of singer Dionne Warswick and gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew as a child in a household of musicians. The singer began her singing career in a choir at her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood and at fifteen, she was singing back vocals professionally with their mother in Chaka Khan's 1978 smash Im Every Woman. After that, she began to perform backing vocals for Lou Rawls, Jermaine, and her mother. She started as a featured vocalist for the New York-based New York Funk band Material. The quality of her vocal performance attracted the attention of big record labels like Arista which she joined in 1983. Whitney Houston became the top-selling debut album for an artist in 1985. From the album, she released several hit singles like Saving All My Love for You How Will You Know That You're Good to Love And The More Love of All. This helped her achieve seven US number one hits consecutively. The singer beat the Beatles. The album sold 3 million copies its first year, and 25 million globally. She won her first six Grammy Awards. The Whitney follow-up in 1987 with the singles What Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to build on the success of her first album. But it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her standing as one of the most loved artist. Although the film and the performance of her in it weren't widely reviewed, the soundtrack album as well as her version of the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You topped charts for albums and singles for a period of time and sold over 44 million copies around the world. The daughter of her mother Bobbi is born March of 1993, a year she got married to Bobby Brown. Around this time that her widely documented drug use began and by 1996 she was a daily user.

Dana Bash (also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz) is a CNN anchorwoman and reporter for the political section of CNN. Her weekend programs are Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. Bash is a recipient of several awards and honours. Elle magazine once listed her in the Women in Washington Power List. Numerous young journalists admire Bash for her incredible reporting and anchoring skills. Personally, the graduate from George Washington University is a doting mother to her only son. She was married twice, but is currently married. Bash, a woman who loves to be determined and independent she is extremely devoted to her fans.
