Jillian Noel Shennessy was born on November 25, 1968 in Canada, is a Canadian actress and musician that was honored for her outstanding contribution in American television. The actress has made a household name because of her roles as Claire Kincaid in Law & Order as well as Crossing Jordan. Hennessy's acting skills were also on display in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent films, she showed off her co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy started her acting career with her sister, in 1988. They played two call-girls in Dead Ringers. The actress was awarded an Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and the Emmy Award. Parker was also the winner of the 2001 Tony Award for Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
