Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born on Winona Minnesota. The parents of Winona Ryder chose her name after her hometown. Michel Horowitz' father was an author and editor, as were Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder believes she is Jewish and descends from Ryder's Jewish father. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. At the age of seven, Ryder was just seven years old, her family moved into Mendocino County California. The family resided in an area without electric power. Ryder read a lot due to the absence of television. At the age of 12 years old, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. When she was 15, Ryder landed her first part onscreen, playing Lucas. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Ryder was hopeful that her work as an actress would help. Sadly, this didn't occur. The actress continued to chase her dreams. In 1988, she received her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to be successful in her roles in many movies. In 1993 she won an Academy Award in the film The Age of Innocence.
