Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor and producer as well as a fashion model. The actor gained fame following his performance as a character in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been in a total of 20 feature films, such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. Alongside his role in Road Trip, Qualls has played in over 22 television programs like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order & Others. The Hodgkin's lymphoma patient who survived who was diagnosed with at age 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. After two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. But treatment at an early age left the body with a severe injury as well as hindered his growth. Once he started acting financial security seemed to be his main goal, as it was the case that he experienced poverty all through the course of his youth. He has said that "I've had a very low-cost lifestyle for so many years that I'm desperate for financial security, or everything will seem out of control and that's not good for me." He also recalls his own childhood and wants to tackle the problem of being bullied. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. DJ's dream role would be to be a father in reel as well as in real life. However, he acknowledges that directors don't have me as a character. One day he'd love to be a parent so you could spend less time on his career to more time with the child.
