Eva Mendes is an American model and actress. A talent agent noticed her talent and encouraged her to go on a path acting or modeling. She dropped out of university after some thought to pursue a career in entertainment. In the feature film "Children of the Corn v Fields of Terror", she made her acting debut but was not pleased in the end. In order to hone and show her acting talents, she appeared in several budget-friendly films. While it wasn't an easy path however, her determination and dedication to her craft were well-rewarded.
