Heidi Klum was conceived in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, on the 1st of June 1973. Erna Klum was her mother. Gunther Klim his father was director of a cosmetics company. Heidi's dad was formerly a producer for 4711, which was a fragrance company. She grew up in her home town in Bergisch Gladbach a city of around 100,000 people just six miles east of Cologne. The former model from Germany, Heidi Klum has become an actress and television host. Klum battled 25,000 competitors in Germany, Europe and beyond until she was in the top three. The winner was awarded $300,000. modeling award in April of 1992.
